Located at the heart of Yaounde, the Filmmakers Data Center's objective who is part of the Film FabLab is to assist filmmakers in storing their content, preserving it and sharing it. The ultimate goal here is to create an filmmakers archives accessible ans sharable globally.

The Filmmakers Data Center is also a film library with almost 1000 titles for students and film critics.

The Filmmakers Data Center is encouraging African Filmmakers with audiovisual, photo, film and audio  content to deposit their material at the Data Center for preservation.

The objective of the Filmmakers Data Center is to have 500 Terabytes capacity.
